There is a real estate agent here with the last name of **Upthegrove** I met a woman once whose last name was **Balogna**. She married a **Malarkey**. ---

Well, this one is kinda close to the OP. Back home in Hawaii, a few years back there was a Republican who was running for…Senate, I think, whose name was Orson Swindle. (He lost.) ---

I have three pretty good friends when the last names: Greedy, Crook, and Swindler. Now, it doesn’t describe their personalities at all, but I always thought they would make a great law firm. ---

When I was a young boy I had a babysitter whose name was Sally Cherry, she later married a man whose last name was Grove. I’m pretty sure she didn’t hyphenate the last names. 🙂 ---

Hey, one of my best friend’s last name is **Upthegrove**. He said it is a corruption of a Dutch word that means ‘gravedigger’, but I don’t know if that’s true or not. ---
