I saw those letters as a kid, but the only one I could ever convince anyone of is the “M”. I never saw the d, although I do now. I saw M, e, b and assumed it was for Montreal Expos Baseball. But I never knew I was right. I’ll take the words of the other dopers on this one. It is what it looks like. ---

I didn’t understand for a long time the Montreal Canadiens “C-H” logo. It’s not bad looking, but it took me a lot of research (in a time before internet) to figure it out. ---

Okay, let’s play a little game! [This logo](http://www.flickr.com/photos/9426210@N05/4192302517/) can be found all over town (I live in Toronto). I mostly see it in the subway, but it’s scattered around the city. If you can guess what it is and what it’s promoting, I will do a little dance with bells on my shoes. GTA area Dopers may not participate, because this logo made the newspapers for being stupid. ---

I always liked the Montreal Expos’ logo, once it was explained to me 30 years ago. There was a clever item in the [uniwatch blog](http://www.uniwatchblog.com/2009/12/17/) today about how the Expos should’ve changed their name to the Expose’ when they moved to DC. [link](http://www.flickr.com/photos/65516705@N00/sets/72157622889162193/detail/) I still don’t like the old Canucks’ logo. Hockey players don’t smile, because they don’t have teeth. (Just kidding, you hockey players!) That’s what a proper hockey team logo would be, a guy with a few teeth knocked out.
