There are usually good responses when an outlandish theory is proposed so in a way it is useful that the topic was discussed. However, the thread in question became difficult to keep up with as the poster went on at great length without getting to clear evidence. I probably could have read a real book about how the pyramids were built in the time spent on that thread. I think it is destiny that someday a jug band will owe its name to cladking. ---

Notice that the same people who believe Egyptologists about the ramps also believe climate scientists about global warming. Itā€™s no coincidence, and itā€™s insidious. Weā€™ve had a number of eminent self-taught authorities here expostulating on these subjects, raising the ire and fear of the scientific establishment. I was naive. There is much worse moderation. Iā€™m not backā€¦ ā€¦just tying up loose ends and wondering if I was banned. Ramp denial and climate change denial really do go hand in hand. Simply stated ā€œskepticalā€ meant something entirely different when I was a boy. It didnā€™t mean to blindly accept everything we were told but rather it meant exactly the opposite. It meant to think for oneself and check other peoplesā€™ conclusions. I am ā€œskepticalā€ even of my own beliefs and assumptions Iā€™ll probably be logging out for the last time now. Any communication will have to take place in this thread. I apologize for any discomfort this might cause moderators past or presentā€¦ ---
