_It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World_. Great movie of course, but pretty meaningless title. And any title that requires counting on your fingers to make sure you’re saying it correctly is a failure. ---

I used to be annoyed at the unimaginative addition of a number also, but now, decades after a series has completed, if it wasn’t numbered I have no idea of the correct viewing order. The Fast And The Furious, Resident Evil, all the Marvel films, they’re very creative with their titling, but completely unhelpful for watching in order fifteen years after release. ---

When it comes to long movie titles, it’s going to be hard to beat anime movie adaptations of Japanese web novels (some of which do get picked up by publishers) where the entire concept is given in the title like some 18th century English novel. They also tend to be isekai crap, so generally not even a good movie. ---

A formidable 7.7 rating on the Internet Movie Database. An all-star cast including Ben Kingsley, Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, and Lucy Liu… But the studio somehow greenlit the excruciating title _Lucky Number Slevin_. ---
