OK, out of everything current I saw last year, you’re making me choose between _Trap_ and _Hit Man_. Man, that’s hard. I _think_ that _Trap_ narrowly beats out _Hit Man_, solely for the wasted potential (it wasn’t the movie I thought it would be) and miscasting (for what it is, I couldn’t buy Josh Hartnett’s performance). _Hit Man_ is mostly OK, it’s at the end that it gets weird. Wait, this is “Worst _Movies_ of 2024”. I nominate _Trap_ **and** _Hit Man_! ---

She got a lot of blowback as being a bad actress, but I thought she did well. ---

I watched part of Trap, and I’m not sure I’m motivated to watch the rest. It’s not terrible, but there’s something weird about it that I can’t quite put my finger on. ---

It might not even be a good movie. But I’ll watch almost anything with Dwayne Johnson in it, so I’ll give it a try when it’s available on streaming.” And I did find it “fun and entertaining”. I may even watch it again next Christmas if it’s available. ---

I really have no dog in this fight, not having seen any new movie last year, but I learned from an article about the Razzies that there was a biopic called “Reagan” with Dennis Quaid as Ronnie, a film that totally escaped my attention and I didn’t hear or read a peep about last year. Was it really so bad? ---

It why the villain’s mouth often doesn’t match what being said. Not sure when or why it was changed. ---

I know for a fact Dakota Johnson signed for a very different movie than what was made, but once you are on…you get what you get. It was mostly nonsense and some editor tried to piece the whole thing together the best they could. I’ve seen worse, but I do commend any editor who has to go through footage and assemble a movie from whatever they gave this editor.
