Here’s an unwatchable two-fer: **The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou** and **I Heart Huckabees** were painfully, _painfully_ bad. Perfect examples of filmmakers who are “too cool for the room” and leave the audience behind in the dust. ---

Aw, man. I really liked _The Life Aquatic_. My submission is _The Grudge_. Ten minutes into that crapfrest and we turned it off and mailed it back to Netflix the same day we got it. ---

A person I know has stated many times that he would rather DIE than have to watch Fantastic 4 again. I recently saw the ‘classic’ film Blow Up. I guess I should have been high to enjoy the film but I wasn’t. ---

I finally saw the original movie\* Buffy the Vampire Slayer\*, since I was recently introduced to the TV series and loved the first two seasons. But the movie was horrible. I’m trying to figure out if it would have seemed just as horrible at the time it came out, or if it was just completely eclipsed and rendered irrelevant by the later version, like Tim Burton’s first _Batman_ movie compared to the far superior _Batman Begins_. I loved _The Life Aquatic_, though, and thought _Constantine_ was better than I expected. ---

i also hated I Heart Huckabees, walked out in fact. i was stuck on a plane with the movie Be Cool recently and it was very very painful. ---

**Kicking and Screaming**. Such a terrible, formulaic movie. I could literally see the jokes coming from a mile away. And in the beginning it was almost good-bad, you could sit there and make fun of it. But then it killed one too many brain cells… ---

Gotta second **Anchorman**. I thought I’d watch anything with Will Ferrell. Or Steve Carrell. I was tragically, tragically wrong. The winner, hands down, is **Manos: Hands of Fate**. I Netflixed this after reading an Entertainment Weekly article declaring it the worst movie ever made. It was everything I dreamed it could be. The DVD is actually a MST3K episode, so even better… ---

I’ve seen quite a lot of crap lately thanks to an upgraded movie package through my cable provider and a school and work free month: Van Helsing King Arthur Cold Creek Manor Bio Dome Gigli Batman and Robin Batman Forever There is an avalanche of mediocre films that I could list as well, but I’d rather not be here all day. ---

I have seen more awful horror/suspense flicks in the past few years than I care to recollect, mainly because I seem to date girls who like to go to horror films. The Darkness was dreadful. Hide and Seek was not so good. Aside from horror I absolutely hate HATE **HATED** Napoleon Dynamite. I couldn’t watch more than 20 minutes before I turned it off. Don’t get me started about The Ring.
