I see that Barry was put up at some point prior to my posting – not above saying I missed him, my mistake. However, how many of you have been brave enough to brave the Wesley Willis site. He gives new meaning to the phrase: “What ‘chu talkin’ about Willis?” ---

I had two that were in close competition. **Casdave** got there 1st with my personal number 2 choice of **Achey Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus**. I assert that the early 1970’s includes the bulk of the worst tunes, for some reason, probably cocaine. 1. Sometimes When We Touch 2. Convoy 3. Shannon (drifting out to sea?) 4. How Much Is That Doggie In The Window? 5. (It Was) An Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini\* 6. San Francisco (Flowers in your hair) 7. Teddy Bear 8. Hooked On A Feeling 9. I Write The Songs (Anything by Manilow, by definition) 10. Young Girl, Get Outta My Mind\*\* - song actually used for SERE training (albeit played at 78 RPM) to break down prisoners will to resist \*\* DNA testing recommended by authorities for possible link to unsolved crimes Honorable mention goes to anything by the Cranberries, with that… that… horrible vocalist is all I can say. Might as well listen to fingernails on a blackboard. AAARrrggggh. ---

I used to have some Wesley Willis CD’s, and I’ve met him. 😃 Gotta love the commercial endings! Oh, the 80’s had a ton of annoying, catchy songs, if not the worst. Forgive me if I don’t know the names: “Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Boom boom shakalakalakaboom” Cry, by Godley and Creme “You don’t know how to ease my pain, you don’t know…” We Built This City, by Starship Rapture, by Blondie Anything by Billy Ocean.
