Without a doubt, the theme for the kids’ show “The Backyardigans” is the worst. It makes me want to punch someone in the neck as soon as I hear it. Instant rage. ---

“Spider-Man” one of the worst? “Standing Tall” deserving respect? Please tell me these were meant ironically. On the other hand, I may be a minority of one in that I never watched an episode of “Friends” because the cloying, annoying theme song would force me to change channels. The fact that it was an inescapable radio hit made it even worse. ---

I would like to know who the hell decided Bullet With Butterfly Wings (“The world is a vampire”) would be a keen song for Whale Wars? One, I can’t see the connection for the life of me. Two, the song is just annoying. Every time I hear it I imagine the lyricist as some high school kid who just noticed that rage and cage rhyme. ---

Believe it or not, OH FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY, _KILL ME!_ …and I am personally glad people have lost the compulsion to sing the _Hello, Larry_ theme song to me: Hello Larry (Hello Larry…) Two kids to raise alone just ain’t that easy (Hello Larry…) The questions they are asking aren’t that breezy The answers you are giving don’t always pay But that’s the way it is with kids today ---

After TOS, it’s my favorite Trek theme song of all. I know a lot of people hate it, but I suspect that’s just because they think a ST theme song \*should \*be an instrumental. I prefer to think out of the box. Plus, it works so well with the video montage. ---
