My kids went on a short kick watching _My Strange Addiction_. Glad that was short lived. Just a bunch of weirdos doing thing like eating glass, eating plastic bags, eating laundry detergent, a grown lady with a doll she takes everywhere. What absolute crap. ---

TheKid, luckily, confines her “I’m ashamed to admit” programs to viewing in her room: _Extreme Couponers, My Strange Addiction, Sex Sent Me to the ER_ and _Ghost Adventures_. It doesn’t stop her giving me blow-by-blow commentary on these said shows, though. She would respond that I should be ashamed to admit that I watch _Big Brother, Survivor, Hell’s Kitchen_ and _LA Hair_. ---

I’m trying hard to think of a ‘reality show’ that hasn’t been done already. Years ago right here on the SD someone suggested a show of animals defecating might go over well:rolleyes:. ---

Mr. Abra loves the pawn/storage/Alaskan survivalist combo. He also will watch any show involving swamps and bait cars. I watch The Walking Dead and Hell On Wheels, and he has no interest in those. I’m also an ID channel fool. He and I agree on reruns of Modern Family and Seinfeld. ---

I suppose My Mother The Car is too easy- but I did watch that years ago. More recently Cheaters. However, Alaskan Gold or whatever it was called so was contrived it would be in the finals. ---

Our bin gets emptied on Friday morning. By yesterday (Saturday afternoon) it was almost full again, thanks to my can’t-sit-still-while-on-prednisone situation. Luckily, I have elderly neighbours whose bins are almost empty every week and I can put my extra stuff into their bins. My roommate thinks **2 Broke Girls** is the funniest thing known to man. I can tolerate **Teen Wolf** , **The Vampire Diaries** , and **The Originals** , but there is something about 2 Broke Girls that just makes my skin crawl. Ugh. Even typing about it right now is getting me worked-up. ---

I watched \*2 Broke Girls \*once, because the description in the schedule said that they were baking something kosher for a bar mitzvah, and I’ll watch anything with a Jewish connection. If the Kardashians were going to a bar mitzvah service, I’d watch it. Anyway, it was so horrible, I couldn’t believe it. It was 1980s horrible. This was early in the first season, and I was sure it would be cancelled soon. It’s still on the air? Wow. How soon before they start having “very special” episodes? ---
