While we are speaking of James Bond…well, somebody was, may I put forward Neil Connery, Sean Connery’s brother who played in (American title) _Operation Kid Brother_. In Great Britain, I believe it was called _Operation 007_. One of the only two films I have ever demanded my money back. I had seen it in the U.S. under the one title and then walked into it in London thinking it was a different film.

It came out just after the James Bond craze took off. As I remember it was a pretty big budget production to introduce Sean’s little brother to the public. As I remember he was a doctor in Scotland somewhere with absolutely no acting experience nor any desire to be an actor but the money was just too good to refuse.

oh now i’m insulted. i thought he was decent! all because he’s a musician. i totally believed his character.

Oh he _looked_ the part, no doubt about that, and I’m sure that’s why they cast him. The only problem is that he was so _wooden_. I’ve seen better emoting from Arnie.

OY!

I guess I didn’t make the connection that the other guy was Flash Gorden.
