Hence why I did the analysis on a round parachute. 
I think I can find a C[sub]d[/sub] for a ram air type. I’ll run the numbers tomorrow. The C[sub]d[/sub] will be lower, but there will be a higher surface area to volume ratio (and volume is directly proportional to mass).
