I originally had 6 invitations to send out, used them all up, and they replenished it with 50. I sent out dozens of those and they replenished it with 50 more, twice.

and I’ll be glad to send you one (limited to the first 40, unless they keep replenishing).
Note: my gmail address is not connected to the one on my profile (because basically I don’t want to receive 100 “There is a reply” e-mails to my main e-mail).

Don’t worry. Chances are they’ll replenish them. I managed to get rid of 50 from my primary gmail account. I’ve got 50 again. And there’s another 50 in my secondary gmail account that I use for e-mail lists. I haven’t touched those. Maybe I’ll spam my hotmail account with them and see how long it takes them to give me 50 more.

I just emailed you Sampiro. Could you briefly let me know what the benefit’s are of as gmail account? I’ve heard the hype but are unsure what the exact benefit is? Maybe just the latent coolness of having a google email?

I have about 50 emails in my gmail inbox and I’m using 0% of my 1000MB of space, **Phlosphr**.
I also have a whole mess of invites. silver dot fire at gmail dot com
This should really be a sticky; we have a new gmail invite thread every few weeks around here.

I’ve got fifty invites, too.
I use mine for very large files like songs and papers and projects and stuff like that.

I’ve yet to give anyone an invite. Nobody wants one… all the other significant E-mail services have upped their storage into the 100+ megabyte range, which is far more than people have been accustomed to, so they don’t really see the need for an order of magnitude more.
However, if anyone wants, I dunno, a dozen or so Gmail invites, lemme know… I be the [JMSPOOFE-at-Gmail.com](http://JMSPOOFE-at-Gmail.com).
