# Would England blow up the Chunnel to stop an invasion?

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned this before. Even if the Channel Tunnel _was_ flooded, if someone really wanted to make their way through it, they could just send divers through, towed behind those little Jacques Cousteau minisubs.

Yes, the Brits would be on the lookout for, er, frogmen.

The French would ensure a European parliament directive was issued which would outlaw the use of armed Britons (being dangerous to Health and Safety )
