If you’re worried about parking, why not get a car with a backup camera? I recently got a Subaru that has one, and it has revolutionized parking for me. I guess you couldn’t get a Subaru Outback like me, because that would somehow make you into a lesbian (I haven’t noticed any change yet, but I’m pregnant and have a toddler, and I haven’t had the car for very long), but my in-laws recently got a Honda Accord hybrid with a back-up cam. ---

I think we’re getting away from the OP. Manly men who are not gay don’t drive cars with back-up cameras. They certainly wouldn’t be caught dead being blown by another man in a hatch-back with a backup camera. ---

I’m sure there are gay jokes that could be made about backup cameras. Way back, knew a guy who experimented with a hatchback in his college days. But he ended up buying a regular 4-door and sold it to a classmate. Now THAT GUY is as different story, he travels everywhere by rainbow these days. One of those faith and begorra leprechauns. ---

Hatchbacks aren’t “gay” but they _are_ girly. Better than 70% of hatchback drivers (including me) I’ve meet around here are women, and most Jeep Wrangler drivers are too. Here they’re both the vehicles of choice for women who need to haul stuff, while pickup trucks seem to attract similar-minded men instead. Perhaps things are different outside the northeast, though. And they get less MPG than you’d imagine: my Nissan Versa gets less than 25mpg and I’ve read lots of other people say that they do too, which makes Nissan’s much higher claims a total lie. ---
