I can’t believe I’m asking this on the boards, but I don’t know who else to ask. I’m talking about porn movies. Say a friend and I discover we have a common…er _taste_. We’re pretty open in chatting about these things. Say I want to loan one of my movies out. Do you guys think this is weird? After all there’s only one real use for them, but if he promises not to get it…dirty, or anything, is it really such a big deal as I’m making out? Oh and if the object of this conversation figures out who he is, and he probably will - he’s not stupid - he’d better just shut up about it until I get an answer. 😉 ---

I’d imagine one would have to go through some pretty impressive contortions to befoul a movie in its appropriate playback device. (“She’s my sex-box, and her name is Sony!” /FamilyGuy) I don’t see the big deal about it, really. But now the portion of my brain that wears a Deerstalker cap is formulating a theory as to the intended recipient… ---

I’ve gotten used porn before. My first tape was actually from my _aunt_ of all people. When an online friend noticed that a store near her apartment was going out of business and selling all their stock, she asked me if I wanted anything and that’s how I wound up with the second and third. Then another friend… I think I’ll stop here. Needless to say, I see no real issue with it unless you send him some props as well. Then it starts getting a little oogy. ---

Color me naive/ignorant, but I didn’t know there were women who enjoyed porn videos on the same level as men do. I had always thought it didn’t do anything for women, or it was novelty factor for them (my friend’s female roomate can sit through a porn video but she’s giggling constantly through the whole thing. Even when she’s watching it alone.) ---

Even when she’s watching it alone.) You are naive. Porn isn’t the same for females, as it’s directed towards men, but many women like to watch, anyway. I’m not getting into anymore detail than that. Suffice it to say that women like sex, too, even watching it. I probably have some of the same movies you do. ---

I’m just curious as to what particular taste this opus represents. And why can’t your friend just aquire it with your recomendation. Will it be safe to mail it to him? ---

Stop being coy! What is it? We’re all adults here. Dont make me use the “Find all posts by button”!!. I’ll do it! I swear to god!. 🙂 The only real problem I can think of is, if the guy thinks you’re hinting at something, and you’re not. From the tone of the OP this isn’t even a consideration, but are you sure he’s on the same page? If I was talking to a girl, and she mentioned that she was into spanking. And I mentioned I was kinda into it as well. She offers to loan me a video on spanking. I might get the impression she wants me to spank her. ---

I don’t see anything weird about it. You two already talk about porn, so I don’t see how it’s a huge leap to actually loan some material… Some of my gay friends swap movies all the time. And by “swap” I really mean borrow indefinately. 🙂 ---

In all honesty… I’m sure there are women out there who _don’t_ enjoy it, but I think there are many, many women out there who just don’t want to say they like it, for fear of being “unladylike” and/or ridiculed by her peers. For some women, it is considered taboo still. I’ve caught many a friend in the past with a super secret stash hidden away, when they would swear up and down and sideways that they didn’t watch porn. Or, as you point out - giggle all the way through it. “Even when alone” is no indicator, since any woman who is hiding it would _say_ that. That said, good on you for lending your movie, **Anaamika**! It might be a little weird, but you won’t know until you’ve done it, right? It’s a rare friend you can borrow porn from now and then. 😉 _grumbles_ Why are all my friends Mormon? I love them, but I’m not getting any porn from them. How can this _be_? ---
