Would producing a birth certificate do any good?

All of them.

The apology you demanded was from past assertions that had nothing to do with the ABC report.

So, no cookie or apology.

But yeah, there is a thread in GD where another “I’m not a birther” **Chen019 **did post a cite referring to that hoax. And it is clear that that hoax is the reason why we are getting shuch an eruption of birthers and even more silly wanna be birthers.

Your select quotes from the ABC article riffed on that hoax and it tripped me, so you get a cookie at least.

Now, lets see if you stop befriending these losers and stop “just asking questions” about this subject that makes the conservatives look silly..

On second thought, just continue.

Diogenes, you’re a total imbecile. I mean, we already knew that, but your latest nonsense confirms it once more:

I know stupid libtards like yourself, who always claim to be “colorblind” and who “worship diversity” prefer to make it about race, but it is not about race. I get that bullshit false accusation a lot. And as I say, I would vote for Alan Keyes or Herman Cain in a heartbeat, and both are black. Not mulattoes like Obama, but BLACK. And I would be screaming just as loudly about the issue had it been McCain or any other white candidate in this situation.

You can always sniff out a stupid, uninformed, ignorant liberal, because they ALWAYS take the easy way out and blame it on race.

Note that one of Obama’s most vociferous detractors about the birth issue is Reverend Manning, a BLACK man who held a civilian court indicting Obama.

Gigobuster babbles on with more misinformation:

False. There are still several cases still going forward. Orly Taitz has one currently going concerning his social security number, and another about his birth certificate, and I believe one or two others. Several other attorneys also have ongoing cases. Here is a link to the first one I mentioned, by Orly Taitz:

Gary Kreep has one going as well:

So does Philip Berg:

Once again, you lie. As liberals usually do.

This is a solid evidence as we’ve seen from you. Compelling. Especially the part about the 1961 printer. Was that one of those old-fasioned laser printers with the hand crank?

You have my deepest sympathy. Long term aphasia is a terrible burden, because your brain and your mouth seem to be totally disconnected and you end up spouting total gibberish.

That is a CERTIFICATE of Live Birth.

What Obama “released”, as view by Factcheck.org, is a CERTIFICATION of Live Birth. Just read the top of the paper:

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

CERTIFICATE and CERTIFICATION are two very different documents.

Meh, they will still lose as always. Orly Taitz has already been found to be a crank several times before and this and the other cases are bound to the same end, dismissal or to failure.

The sad thing is that even acknowledging for your findings the fact remains that overwelmingly they lost the cases or the courts dismissed the birther cases and the courts are losing patience with the “continue to beat the dead horse” proponents.

Some dumbass…oh, wait, of course it was Elucidator, wrote:

As is typical of liberals like yourself, you don’t quote the entire statement and take it out of context so as to warp what was actually said. Here is my next sentence after talking about the rumor:

Liberals are just not worth talking to. They are literally too stupid and dishonest. Used car salesmen are more honest and reputable!

I’m aware that an original document always remains with the state. As it happens I had occasion to get a copy of my daughter’s birth certificate about a year and a half ago and I know that what I got was not the original document. What I did not know however is that the original document contains information not on the certified copy a person gets when they request a copy of their birth certificate.

And with regard to the long form itself, the ABC News article, plus the included quote from Orly Taitz, who, despite her acknowledged status as a wingnut is still an attorney, both claim that Obama’s original birth documentation exists in “long form” form.

Prior to this thread I’ve never heard it mentioned (though admittedly I haven’t looked into it) that there is no such thing as long form birth documentation. So I’m wondering where you got your information.

Not so. I was asking (remember, I gave you a choice between apologizing or stating that the ABC News report amounted to wingnuttery. You appear to be unwilling to commit either way) for an apology for having been insulted as a result of mentioning long form birth certificates, for the apparent difficulty in locating the original form, and for suggesting that Obama should make an effort to have the original released to the public. These are the things I said which the ABC News report supports, and so they are the things I’m requesting an apology for.

You should stop dancing on the head of a pin and simply offer it.

What is it with liberals and their bizarro assumptions? Do you people actually believe that the people you call “birthers” actually think that Obama’s mama went through getting him illegally registered because she planned on him being president one day? The very idea of a black man ever becoming president in 1961 was unthinkable. No one would ever have thought it possible. No, she probably just wanted what all illegals want…to have her son enjoy the fruits and benefits of being an American citizen. No more, no less. Stupid liberals and their bizarre conspiracy theories.

The idiot liberals are swarming like horseflies! Steve MB babbled:

Uh, news flash, bozo…

Obama can legally release his birth certificate, as can any other (supposed) citizen. That’s not an act of “presidential lawlessness” or an “abuse of power”. Obama, like anyone else, can legally release his (assuming it even exists!) long form birth certificate. It has nothing to do with presidential abuse.

Good lord it’s literally talking to the terminally brain dead!

Newsflash, dumbass, his mother wasn’t illegal. She was a fucking citizen. Barrack would have been a fucking citizen. Are you really that daft?

That’s not a “case going forward”. That’s a new complaint she filed seven days ago. Taitz has filed about a dozen of these things, all of which have been thrown out- and got her a $20,000 fine for wasting court time with frivolous suits.

Kreep took over that suit from Orly Taitz, and it was dismissed. An appeal is on the Ninth Circuit’s docket and will be denied.

Berg’s lawsuit was dismissed in 2008 and the dismissal was upheld on appeal.

Even if that were true, there’s no reason to lie when the facts are on your side. I await your apology to GIGObuster.

Travis wrote:

I never said she was an illegal, I said she wanted what all illegals want, in other words, the same thing all the illegal aliens want. Good lord, it’s like pulling teeth!

If that’s what she wanted, wouldn’t the easiest way to get it be to just give birth in Hawaii?

And she lost her case regarding that issue, if you check what she is doing now, she is reduced now to be a “Social-Number-Securither”.

I thought I made already clear that I was mistaken in referring to the wignuttery of the ABC article, I was actually referring to the overall picture and to a poster that had just made a similarly worded post dealing with the hoax I referred to on Great Debates.

But, seeing that you continue with the “just questions” act one wonders what good any further acknowledgments of getting one bit wrong will do.

Except you said she faked everything to get him the stuff he would have gotten anyway. I had doubts before, but you’ve just confirmed it–you are the stupidest person I’ve ever met.

Would you mind posting some documentary evidence of that? Thanks so much.

As stated in the ABC News report, Chris Matthews also questioned why Obama doesn’t release the original document. Now maybe that is contrary to Hawaiian law, and maybe it isn’t. I don’t know. But what I do know is that you’re unlikely to assign the same motives to Matthews’ statement as you do to mine, yet they’re virtually identical. So unless you’re willing to attribute the same malice to Chris Matthews as you do to me, I suggest you owe me an apology as well.

Obama’s father could not pass citizenship to Obama, since he was a British citizen. Obama’s mother could not pass citizenship since at the time, if only one parent was a citizen, that parent must have lived in the USA for at least 10 years, at least 5 of which had to have been after the age of 16, meaning she had to have been 21 to have passed citizenship to him.

This is why it needs a major investigation and court hearing. Let the Supreme Court hear the case, have the evidence presented (the long form birth certificate, social security records, etc), and allow experts to examine the evidence and lawyers try the case. These problems will NEVER go away until that is done. Period. There are so many conflicting facts and dead ends and false starts and contradictions and outright lies that it sends up a huge red flag that something isn’t kosher.
