I assure you, the insulin injections don’t make my life a nightmare; they’re just a minor PITA. And you’d really rather have Alzheimer’s than diabetes??? :eek: ---

If you gave me the choice, I’d run away screaming, but in the end choose against Alzheimer’s. That said, we’re getting pretty far afield here. I initially mentioned the phobia to contrast my own approach to gender with that of other folks. If the switch involves injections, that’s the most important aspect of the hypothetical to me, not the changed genitalia.
