# Would you accept this trade-off?

I thought about this for a while, and my answer is… Why not? I could use to look at myself less in the mirror anyways. 😉

I’d take it. I don’t really look at myself anyway or care about my appearance beyond the minimum. This gives me magical, _maintenance-free_ good looks. It may also make me immune or resistant to a number of medical problems, since they would worsen my appearance.

I wouldn’t take it. If I was going to rate my looks based on the consensus of folks around me, I’d probably be a 6 or 7 out of 10. No modeling career for me, but I’m not unhappy with my looks. There’s a compelling need to change. (And, frankly, I’m quite comfortable this way. I’m not sure I’d want to be the very best looking person in the room. 9 out of 10 tops.)

Offset that with the problems of not being able to see my face? No thanks. Can you imagine meeting someone for coffee and not being able to describe yourself?

Sure. I’m tired of people looking at me and my gorgeous partner, and saying "What’s HE doing with HIM? Just for a change, it’d be nice for them not to wonder.

It’s summer. I get a buzzcut in the summer, meaning I don’t need to brush/comb my hair.  
I’m working from home today, so I didn’t bother to shave.  
I was barely conscious when I got up early this morning, so while there was a mirror in front of me in the bathroom, I don’t think I looked at it.

So, how exactly would this change for me?
