This isn’t quite what you wrote, but I’ve met both 30 year olds and 70 year olds that looked like they were 50. If I found out an old-looking 30 year old was really a youthful 70, I would be surprised but not shocked. ---

I would assume he was pulling my leg. Like the 30-ish guy behind me at airport security today who jokingly told the TSA agent he was a 75-year-old man who took really good care of himself, because 75-year-olds don’t have to take off their shoes to go through the scanner. ---
