I had no idea that the OP was trying to make illegal for tea party members to get married. Has he also argued that tea party members should not be allowed adopt? Has he fought against laws that protect tea party members from being discriminated against in the housing or job markets? No? He hasn’t done any of those things? You mean to say that the limit of his intolerance is he calls people who try to do those to him “assholes?” Wow. That’s not even _remotely_ as intolerant as the tea party. Hating on someone for their ideas is not the same as hating on someone for their nature. And calling someone names is not the same thing as actively working to limit a persons civil rights. ---

Shouldn’t we practice tolerance diversity? Some people have a lot of tolerance others not as much, but unlike other characteristics that are fixed across one’s personality, the same person can demonstrate different levels of tolerance for different things. He may have boundless kitten tolerance but very low gecko tolerance for example. I think that the expression of high levels of intolerance in any one area is an indication of an essential lack of balance. Much like yoga can be used to redirect and balance one’s chi, tolerance diversity training can help to correct these imbalances and lead to significant improvements in quality of life.
