I answered yes, but I don’t think one-nighters are inherently objectifying. They often can be, but definitely don’t have to be. Either way, I wouldn’t mind being somebody else’s “kink” in that situation. A racial curiosity / fetish wouldn’t be a great sign as a start to a longer relationship, but for one night stand it could work just fine. ---

I have been with women of all races but the only ones that made it clear it was a racial thing were Asian women. I have had this happen several times over many years. It pretty much goes like this. " I want to fuck a white guy tonight" about that simple. ---

I wouldn’t have a one-night stand _now_, but perhaps in the past when I was much younger. It wouldn’t have bothered me then, so I voted based on that. ETA: I’m assuming I feel otherwise safe, and that the racial preference is the only thing I’m voting on. ---

Back when I did such things I barely required more than a pulse and I assumed all names were fake since mine usually was so ------- why the heck not? I did a couple just based on different religion; that being a big thing back then. ---

Like others have commented, my reflexive reaction would be “Why me, when there are lots more attractive men of my race around here who would probably be glad to hump you?” I am not a judmental person, but I am suspicious of motives with regard to people I dont’ know who want something from me. What I would probably do is touch my wallet to make sure it’s still there and slowly back away. But show no fear. They can smell fear. ---

We never outright said it to each other but I’m pretty sure curiosity was a big motivator the first time I was with a black girl. It was my first time with a black girl and her first time with a white guy. It was fucking hot too and I’m not ashamed to admit the “taboo” of it all played a big factor in that. ---

This sort of thing happens to me all the time. Not the one night stands, but the attempts at one or other race-based flirting. It’s gotten so predictable that whenever a white guy starts hitting on me, I start a timer in my head because it is a certainty that it’s only a matter of time that he brings up some variation of “So I’ve never slept with/dated/whatever a black woman.” Oh heavens me! I’ll settle up the tab! You get us an Uber. It’s actually turned me off to white guys almost entirely. Whenever they talk to me, I just want them to go away. (I think it might be a Midwest thing too, because it’s gotten worse since the move. People here are stupid.) Edit: Shakes, I thought you were black. Where did I get that from? ---

Other than the outlier, the responses have been"yes because one night stands are awesome/great/acceptable" or “no because I don’t like/believe in/want to do one night stands.” The race card has had nothing to do with it. If the point of the poll was to be about race, then having the person be hot in the eyes of the beholder negates that. By making them only marginally attractive then I have to think about whether or not I wanna throw this girl a bone (pun heavily intended) and let her do the dance with the super-rare skinny white guy, as opposed to saying “lucky me I get to pork a hot chick!” ---
