# Would you buy the new green ketchup from Heinz?

My first thought when seeing the Jeannie Moos story on the green ketchup on CNN was about the link between food dyes and additives and ADHD. Millions of kids on Ritalin and they’re adding MORE junk to food?

(Psst. Anyone miss me? I’ve been gone since before July 4. There’s all these little arrows and stuff. Is there an explanation somewheres?)

A side note re: the amount of chemicals in green ketchup - they don’t have a Canadian version yet. Why? Canada has more stringent regulations regarding food additives, and they have not been able to produce the same green colour while still staying within regs.

When they do, will I buy it? If it costs more, nope. If not, and the kids want to try it, then… maybe. I don’t eat ketchup myself.
