my cats spoiled rotten…so yeah
At two inches across, a cat’s brain is one humonguous walnut.
Oh yeah. Our dogs, horses, and birds are all spoiled rotten and have zero responsibilities. A life of leisure would be wonderful.
My dogs have a great life, but I wouldn’t want to be sent outside when it’s 20 below zero and told to go poop! ![]()

My cat has diabetes and gets an insulin shot every day and eats a special diet she hates but eats it because it’s all she has. She also has a kidney issue that causes her to drink a lot of water and to pee a lot. We go through 35 pounds of litter every couple weeks. My chihuahua mix dog has a collapsed trachea which causes breathing problems and coughing if she gets too rambunctious. She also has a large tumor on her right front leg that is considered inoperable due to her respiratory issues. Both are seniors (the cat is 15, the dog is 13) and our vet is giving both only a couple more years. Sorry Trixie and Lexi, no trading places.
Taking into account “you are now, in every way” which means being taken care of by me, and no memory of my former self…
Let’s see, my cat has run of the house, a latticed-in front porch (with pet door access), a 10’ by 15’ catio in the back (also pet door access), bird feeders near each for their entertainment, lots of cat toys, another cat to keep him company, fine choice of food and treats with the occasional tuna…
And considering he has no stress, doesn’t have to deal with traffic and asshole drivers, doesn’t work or pay taxes, doesn’t have to deal with conservatives, worry about mortgages and bills…
Hell yes, in a New York minute!
ETA: Oh, and doesn’t realize he will die someday.
