# Would you date an older woman?

I’m not sure how comfortable I’d be dating a younger man. I’ve had flings with slightly younger men, like a year or two, but more than that I’d be afraid of feeling all Mrs.Robinson, coo coo kachoo.

I was someone’s mid-life crisis once, at 19 I dated a 42 year old guy for about 6 months, wonderful learning experience. Now, at 34, I’d just like to date, period.

Wow, I didn’t expect so many people to respond. Thus far, I’ve only dated older men. My husband was 21 years older than me, but that was a rather whacked situation. The closest to my age guy I’ve ever dated was a just a few months older. I did have a serious crush on someone a few years younger than I am, but it wasn’t reciprocated. I think the older you get, the less significant an age difference makes. As a teenager, a person has no adult life experiences to draw on, but this is mitigated as people mature.
