As opposed to the others in this thread, I’m very close to the line of detesting cats, so I find this absolutely hysterical. I think the only reason I would ever get a cat is to dress it up like that and put it on display. ---

I think they’re cute, actually, but I hope those things are elasticized around the neck. Anyway, my kitties would tolerate it for a minute but then off their neckwear would go, to be pounced upon, pummeled, and slobbered on, and eventually to take refuge with the dust bunnies under the couch. ---

In my experience, those things would have to be made of kevlar to last more than a few minutes. Put me in the camp that thinks it’s really funny, though. ---

Oh dear. Those poor things. What an awesomely wicked pick-me-up for the afternoon! I will have to send this to my boyfriend. He will fall over laughing. 🙂 I have a good friend who ridicules his cat often, and then says, “It’s a good thing my cat doesn’t speak English. He would have killed me in my sleep years ago.” I wouldn’t be surprised if any of THOSE kitties did the same. ---

My mom had some leftover yarn after knitting a sweater so she whipped up a cardigan for the cat. After he wrestled it off he dragged it right in front of his box and kicked all the litter out onto it. I agree with **Adoptamom\_II** Them kitties is zooted! ---

I like my cats nekkid, thank you very much. Mine would never tolerate such degrading outerwear. I tried to put a collar on Dolphie once, and she did contortions that would put Circe de Soleil to shame. I can’t imagine there are kitties who would allow themselves to be dolled up like that, but I guess it takes all kinds. ---

That is adorable. No, I wouldn’t do it to my cat, but mainly because it looks like too much work. But if someone gave me the little outfit, and I was going out with the cat to a costume party… then again, that doesn’t sound like a very probably chain of events. ---
