That is so cool! Where is that bridge? That picture reminds me of the bridge over Hoover Dam. Has anyone driven over it? Was it scary? I saw it when it was only partially built on a drive to Vegas many moons ago. I only flew to Vegas after that trip, so I never got to drive over it. ---

Yes. They got the sides built up, so you can’t see anything. Otherwise, I imagine it could be a little unnerving. ---

Wow! The length of that one and nothing but water for miles would freak me out, but the height of the Hoover Dam bridge would scare the hell out of me. Yes, it’s probably better not to be able to see. ---

The Wienermobile is the greatest vehicle built, or that will ever be built! Count me in. I saw it driving by our farm when I was a kid. What are the odds! I once saw a daytime meteor because I happened to be looking in the right direction at the right time. I think that was residual Wienermobile-induced luck! ---

I do a lot of festivals & I’ve even done some with them & got to talk to the ‘wieners’ on the quieter times. It’s a shit job. On the road full time, limited clothing/personal storage in that thing (since you need to carry freebie inventory, too.) Finding a (hopefully, non-sketchy) laundromat on a regular basis. Standing out in the hot, humid sun, or even the rain if you still have even a smattering of people for hours on end every weekend. Having to be constantly up & peppy. Don’t go out drinking some night because the next day, when you’re hungover is guaranteed to be where your boss’s sibling/college roommate/best friend since second grade is going unexpectedly appear. (& the typical hire is a first-year-out-of-college, attractive kid.) All that being said, _Hell_ Yeah! ---

Having to maneuver a 27-foot behemoth like that is not my idea of a good time. The only way I would even consider it is if you put me, say, in a vacant parking lot or something, where I might be able to cut loose and have a little fun without worrying about how much property I’ve damaged and how many people I have flattened. And even then, I think I might be a little tense.
