> Hufu (Chinese: 胡服; pinyin: húfú; Korean: 호복; Hanja: 胡服; RR: hobok), also referred as Hu clothing, nomadic dress, 'barbarian' clothing or dress, or foreign dress, is a generic term which refers to any clothing which was worn in ancient China and its surrounding regions by non-Han Chinese people. This term is also used to refer to foreigner's dress or clothing of foreign origins in ancient China. The introduction of Hufu-style garments and attire in China ...

This _would_ have been as close as we could get to a Randy Feast if the website were still in business.

Given that, all legalitys considered, I’ve tried most other meats so sure, I’d try it.

Not the brains though, that’s where the [kuru](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuru_(disease)) comes from.

The difference between long pig and real pig is that long pigs eat too much weird crap plus the skewer tends to puncture the anus and intestines on the spit contaminating the meat. Long pig is worth a try but don’t try winning any barbecue contests with it. Standard pork recipes will work but the meat is expensive and hard to come by unless you raise it yourself.

I once read an article by William Buehler Seabrook, who had lived with a cannibalistic tribe, in which the taste was described as more like beef than pork. He wrote that although he had, at one point during his stay with the tribe, thought he was eating human being he found out later that they had deceived him. He subsequently made it a goal to try the taste of human flesh, and enlisted the help of a man who was able to procure for him the cadaver of a young accident victim who was in good health.

He described in the article the preparation of the human meat (a roast and a steak, iirc) and then described the taste of each. One I remember he said tasted like veal, and the other like beef.

He said it most certainly did not taste like pork. He wrote this in the 30s, and I’m looking now for where I read it online. I do recall that the person who got him the human cadaver was a medical intern/student in France.

As for me, damn right I would eat it. Just to know for sure what it tastes like.

Supposedly the Fore tribe. They are rumored to specifically have eaten the remains of those who died from kuru, the prionic brain disese that is the human version of mad cow.

No. Dogs, cats and humans as food animals are considered taboo among my people.
