Well, I’m committed now. The tomatoes, along with some from my CSA, are boiling away as tomato sauce. I was going to chop up some of the squash and peppers to throw into a hash for tonight, but I think at this point that’ll be tomorrow and we’ll have pasta with this sauce tonight. The rest of the CSA tomatoes and all the cherry tomatoes have been roasted & pureed for other uses. The string beans will be the side for Wednesday’s dinner, and the three eggs will go into zucchini bread.

purplehorseshoe, that sounds very good and may well be what I do with the tomatoes from Thursday’s delivery! Thanks!

Ha! Toucanna, I didn’t even see that! I don’t think I’d eat blue kangaroo meat. Not that I know much about kangaroos, so maybe I could be talked into it.

Also, we had tomato sauce and zucchini bread last night. It was so very good. And we haven’t died yet!
