If you don’t want to eat it, you can make [art prints](http://www.dse.nl/~jipje/drawing/placenta_art/) with your placenta. FTR, I find doing pretty much anything with it completely disgusting. It’s medical waste! Remove it! ---

Incidentally, I’ve discussed this sort of thing at length with many horrified observers, and I also wouldn’t be adverse to theoretically having a little snack on any of my amputated limbs, if circumstances allowed. Try everything once except line-dancing and incest. ---

It serves as the part on the baby’s side that matched to the uterus to allow the exchange of air and nutrition. ---

I view as something like chitterlings - not something I’d ever seek out, would probably not pick off a buffet table, but if in one of those situations were you _have to_ be polite, a gun was held to my head, or I was literally starving yeah, I’d try it. Maybe. ---
