I just don’t think I’d feel comfortable doing so. If only because I’ve never flown before, and I wouldn’t want that time to start. It’s like, when they were talking about building a replica of the _Titanic_, and sailing it on the 100th anniversary to the spot where the original sank. I would NOT want to be on the maiden voyage. Just a silly quirk of mine. I admit it’s stupid. ---

I would fly on that date. Even if an attack were planned for that day, what are the odds that I would be on one of the hijacked planes? Minuscule. Concerning the significance of the date of the 2001 terrorist plane hijacks in the USA: I doubt that 911 as an emergency code would have any significance to the people who planned the attacks. 911 is not used for emergency calls in Switzerland and so I imagine it’s not used by other countries either. I’d fly in a second. As for the “Emergency 911” - 9/11 theory, that’s just a silly coincidence. It was actually a fiendishly clever multilingual and visual pun. _ **Nein** _ 11 – “No” + “Twin Towers” I’m so sorry for that. No doubt the alt.fan.nostradamus crowd will pick up on it and add it to their list of revelations. ---

I wouldn’t fly this September 11th. It’s a Wednesday, and would thus require a day off work at some point, and thus cost me a bit of money, in addition to the cost of the ticket, which would probably be more than I would want to spend. But I wouldn’t be concerned about terrorist attacks or anything. ---

I definitely would. I’m actually flying two days later on FRIDAY THE 13TH of September to meet a really good friend in Chicago for a weekend. I think it’s actually a little worse than flying on September 11th because of the “Friday the 13th” thing and all. Wouldn’t that be a message? I have no qualms, but my husband and parents are a little freaked out. ---
