Of course you can forgive liars. Forgiving someone doesn’t mean you necessarily trust them. It just means that you aren’t going to stay mad at them and allow them rent-free access to your brain. ---

How is forgiving this person or not going to impact your life? Have you already met in person or is this still online only? If you’ve never met, just forgive and forget. Forgive so it doesn’t fester inside you and forget him completely. As a matter of fact, just do that either way. Move on. ---
