# Would you go to a libertine club?

I know they exist elsewhere, but I’ve only seen them and been in one while in Paris. Basicly they are sex clubs. Usually the requirement to be able to enter is to be a couple. One side of the club looks like a normal bar / dance club. But on the other side through a door, is anything goes, within reason. There are lots of different rooms, you can just watch; you can participate, just with your partner, or with others if they invite you.
So if given the opportunity, would you go?

Do you have to enter as a couple, or do you only have to enter as part of a couple if you’re a man? I thought single women were usually welcome at those places.
Personally I don’t have any interest in doing something like that. That shouldn’t really be the only “no” answer though, there are probably plenty of people who would like to except they’d be too uncomfortable, think it’s morally wrong, or their partner wouldn’t allow it.

Haven’t done a couples’ sex club, but did some S&M events and had a lot of fun, so I’d be game for a couples’ sex club.

Most of these clubs welcome single men, they are the cash cow that keeps them afloat. Some couples enjoy extra male participation, some women like LOTS of extra male participation (“Greedy Girls”), and there will always be plenty of men wanting to get some action, so they pay far more to get in. There are usually couples-only nights for those that don’t like being pestered by hordes of blokes whose little head is ruling their big head. Single women are so few and far between they usually get in for free.
The place I frequent here in England, Chameleons in Darlaston, is like a converted town-house. There’s a front bar area for socialising, then a warren of smaller rooms, a dungeon, steam room, sauna, a couple of 10-seater jacuzzis (that hold far more than that), plus various open and private rooms to play in. Gents wear towels, ladies wear either towels or lingerie. It’s a “private members (oo-er!) club”, and there’s a big sign in the front bar stating “Towels to be worn at all times. Sexual behaviour will not be tolerated on these premises”. Ha ha, yeah right.
Oh, the things I’ve seen, the things I’ve done, the friends I’ve made…
There’s only so much fun you can have as a single bloke at these clubs though, and there’s nothing worse than nursing a drink on a quiet night, with 30 other single men, all waiting for someone of the opposite sex to show up. You’ve paid £30 to get in though, so you are going to hang on to the bitter end…
Better to find someone to go with, as a couple, single men are the very bottom of the food chain.
Off to the Cap D’Agde next week, and that place is something else, I’ve never seen so much libertinous behaviour in one place!

Hmm… well it sounds interesting, but I would only go to a place like that with my SO. We have terrific sex though. I don’t think there is much need to add this sort of thing into our life. Even if we were to both agree on this and feel curious enough to explore it - the chance of there being one where we live is zero…I think.

I’m an introvert who finds regular nightclubs uncomfortable and exhausting, and I doubt that adding public sex would make it more comfortable for me.

I’d go for the experience but wouldn’t participate.

No, for the same reason I would never interact with a prostitute. While I’d definitely be interested (in theory), my fear of disease would keep me away. Condoms work for certain acts, but I’m only satisfied with the full process. They don’t protect against everything. It’s probably a bit irrational, since many of the women I’ve been with in my life didn’t provide any medical clearance prior to the act. But I guess I’m just playing the probabilities.

He he, you have no idea how many men I’ve seen sitting there dejected, their little willy deflating, while their wives get PROPERLY pounded, like they never get at home, by some geezer with a cock like a baby’s arm holding an apple. I often wonder if they would be quite so keen to bring their wife again. (And yes, some of them bring their wives back for more!)
For some reason, lots of husbands think they are going to be doing their wife and lots of other bi women, then find out their wife wants to be fucked by 4 big black men, and it affects their relationship, strangely enough.
Make sure you know what you both want, what you both DON’T want, or won’t tolerate, and make sure you stick to those rules. Oh, and avoid drinking alcohol when going to these places.

Never been to such club in Paris, but we have tried once with my GF in Barcelona. At that time she had told me she wanted to try new experiences while we were there… So we went to [Apricots](http://en.apricots.es), a club in the city center. If think I will go back there next time I’m in Barcelona, but this time on my own 😛 (I precise that we are no longer together, don’t wanna seem to be a jerk!)

It looks like that spanish club is just a brothel. Plenty of those in Spain and other countries, but something different from the clubs that are meant here.
