I will never have children, but I wouldn’t allow any hypothetical kid of mine to wear that. Forget being nine, you’re still living in my house then you’re not running around like that. ---

How is that supposed to be a witch costume? She’s wearing fuck-me boots! No. No no no no no. I wouldn’t let my cousins leave the house looking like that. Maybe without the boots and makeup and if the so-called dress was at least four inches longer. ---

As an outfit to go out in - inappropriate. As a costume for halloween - inappropriate. I guess the answer is “no.” ---

What’s funny about it is that it’s not just wrong in the sense that she’s too young for it, but that it just doesn’t look good on her. It’s wrong from a fashion perspective too. It’s just wrong on every level. that’s not the right shade of lipstick, her knees are too knobby for those boots and her tummy sticks out more than her tits. (all things that are appropriate for a 9 year old) ---

Absolutely not. That skirt needs to be at least six to eight inches longer for it to be remotely acceptable even on a teenager. ---

If she’s going to wear makeup, I’d try to get her to aim for something that looks like it hasn’t been ladled on, please; as has been mentioned that lipstick doesn’t suit her; if she’s going to emphatize both the eyes and lips (a no-no so bit even I know about it), then since it’s a witch costume let’s go all the way… but with better colors. The dress would have to be reworked, then the whole thing would be acceptable for Halloween, Carnavales or something like that. Not only does she look like she’s about to start looking for a lamppost to lean on, that dress makes it look like her babyfat is an early-pregnancy belly. ---

I would not allow my daughter to wear that, even to try it on, and especially not with make-up. WTF is Billy Ray thinking letting his 9-year-old out dressed like that? (Besides “Noah better have my money,” I mean) ---

Yes indeed. Look at her–she’s got this sparkly lipstick on, and gappy buckteeth like any kid. Eyeshadow and kid hair. A tight shirt and a little-girl belly. No skirt to speak of over little-girl legs that ought to be in jeans. Is this what she’s growing up thinking is appropriate for a little girl to wear to get attention? Does this look like a good way to grow up to her? It’s terribly sad. ---
