I think it’s ugly and awful on a 9 year old but uhh, I was kind of goth as a teenager and my parents “let” me wear all sorts of stupid slutty sh\*t, including a highly suspect pirate costume sometime around when I was 14. But I think as mid-90s goth lite, I probably would have worn those black and white striped tights and most likely some sort of hat with that type of dress as I generally wore insane colours of pantyhose with everything. In fact, I remember one of my favourite outfits from back then perfectly-a purple velvet cloche, chunky doc martens or Fluevogs, black and white striped tights, black mini-mini skirt, white tshirt and sweater. Along with my assortment of piercings. My parents had their revenge in the end, though. I look back and I can’t BELIEVE the stuff I wore. ---

No way. Well, let me amend that: no fucking way! That poor kid looks like she’s turning tricks in the corner of a seedy neighborhood somewhere. I am not a prude, and I find kid’s nudity beautiful, but I don’t like girls who look slutty, there’s a time for everything. And I don’t think she’s going for anything vampire or goth or similar, because the makeup and clothes don’t match. The closest thing I can think of is “Bondage” or “hooker”. And apparently is [not the first time](http://mamamia.com.au/weblog/2009/06/this-is-miley-cyruss-sister-she-is-9-and-im-trying-to-breathe.html) she does something like this. Somebody in that household needs to have some sense bitch-slapped into them. ---

I don’t care about what she’s wearing. I DO care that she has got to be the ugliest little girl I’ve seen in a long time. ---

It would be OK as the basis for a “fashionable witch” costume if it had opaque tights, maybe different boots, and either much less makeup or much more makeup (that is, either “tasteful” or “deliberately over the top”). As it is, it looks like someone’s trying to make her look sexy… which is way too disturbing a thought. ---

With some tights and losing the fuck-me boots, for Halloween, probably. Though I still think it’s god-awful. The rest of the time? No way. **Mighty\_Girl** , I think the pics in your links are bathing suits. I definitely hope they are, anyway. This is if I had a nine-year-old daughter.
