What was the programme that had the above mentioned song as a theme tune?

The girl in the show’s dad was an alien and she could stop time. She used to talk to him via a crystal/pyramid thing in her bedroom.

It’s driving me mad…

It was [Out of this world](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092423/) (IMDB link)

I vaguely remember watching it when I was young, but all I can remember now is the theme tune, the time stopping thing, and the title.
