It depends. Did she do just a few amateur films, or was she someone whose name would be instantly recognizable to those with a moderate interest in porn? Was it modeling, mild fetish photography, “normal” porn, or did it involve extreme bondage and humiliation, scat, extreme insertions, farm animals, and the like? One-on-one, or did she try to set world records for gangbangs? Is she otherwise psychologically normal, or was there some deep-seated issue that eventually led her to porn, like sexual abuse? This might be a generalization, but would she be happy in a committed, sexually monogamous relationship, whether she’s heterosexual or bi? ---

I only have the requirement of 10 years of clear STD testing. With the exception of one man, I have never dated a virgin, I do not expect virginity in my spouse, and porn is a job. Just as prostitution is a job. Also, he has to have held a new job for those 10 years of clean blood tests, I will not risk STDs as I am allergic to pretty much all the common antibiotics. ---

That’s an awful broad-based assumption to make, when the answer is just as easily “I like money AND sex, win-win.” ---

Well… I don’t know if I’m ready to marry anyone, but having been (or being, for that matter) a porn star wouldn’t really be the issue there. Long-term relationship with the possibility - sure. If they’re an emotional basket-case and manipulative, I’d be avoiding them for that, not because they were a porn star. ---

My partner did some porn (one video and many photos) back when he was in college, and I have no problem with it. I suspect the number of people who have ever seen the porn is less than the number of people he actually had sex with. ---

Assuming a clean STD screen, why not? I’m normally quite averse to the prospect of marriage - if this woman is so extraordinary as to overcome that aversion, I’d be nuts not to marry her. ---

I would not marry and have children with a porn star. But it could be a fun little fling. 1. I assume most, if not all, porn stars have some serious psychological and stability issues. 2. It’s undignified to a) have sex for money b) let everyone see your pink parts and c) be such an attention whore (“Oh, everyone look at me and tell me how pretty I am!”) Dignity is important in a lifetime partner. 3. I have to keep my potential future daughters off the pole. Breeding with a porn star would not be a good start. 4. I’m under the impression that all porn stars have herpes. I would prefer to not acquire herpes. 5. I love highly sexual women, and I don’t care about or ask about their sexual past. I think jealousy and insecurity in that area is silly. But if a girl told me she used to be a porn star, well that would bring out the prude in me. ---
