Comics are often not that fun. Music is often pretty good. I enjoy new bands more than new comics.
Definitely comic. About the only time I watch TV is if I’m around on a Saturday night, and, if there’s a keyboardist, I check out their rig, but if there isn’t, I usually just tune out unless there’s something good to focus on. Usually disappointed, sorry to say. But at least with music, you can judge things like how the live mix works, and what’s going on – but at least with music, it’s likely to be not that remarkable. Same with comics, but at least it’s likely to be pretending to be fresh – disclaimer, the last comic I saw on TV was Lisa Lampanelli, and she was pretty funny to me. Oh, that Tosh guy – got sick of him after a few episodes, but nothing as bad as hearing some bunch of young (<30) punks pretend to be all badass on their own fucking instruments no less. Be a badass all you want with the ladies in the bathroom, but you can’t pretend you’re fucking Les Paul just because you’re playing one – everyone knows a Pat Boone wannabe in a second.
