I had issues with sleeves even before i was fat. (It’s worse now, of course.) Clothing designers seem to assume that women are shaped like Olive Oyl, with no discernable muscle in their arms. ---

I might, if it turned out that what I bought wasn’t going to be useful for my intended purpose. For example, I just did a bit of network installation in the house to transport the WAN connection of the new fiber cable demarcation to the router (without relocating the router and without running new Cat 6). I wasn’t sure of the quality of the coaxial run I was going to use with the new MOCA adapters I bought to carry the WAN route to the router, and if it didn’t work out (e.g., inadequate bandwidth for the WAN trunk) I would have carefully returned everything to its packaging and returned them to Amazon. ---

Years ago a friend that worked at Mountain Equipment Co-op, which had a very generous return policy. A lady came in with toaster and insisted on a return. They took it and gave her the money. They have never sold toasters. ---

I remember when LL Bean dropped their unlimited return policy. I believe there were people who would buy used (even well-used) LL Bean stuff from garage or estate sales and then return it for a full refund or replacement with new stuff. ---

Yeah, they mention that in the story I linked, also would buy stuff, go camping for the weekend and return everything covered in mud on Monday, or turn in slippers that they’d been wearing for years for new ones. ---

I would only return something used if is was defective. If something is the wrong size I will return it if it is unused (or just tried on and in new condition), especially if the company (like Zappos) basically operates that way.
