The first time we went to Hawaii, a week before we arrived there was a fatal shark attack. Poor surfer’s funeral was held the week we were vacationing.
A year or so later, we went to San Diego. The day before we arrived, a surfer was killed by a shark.
I considered issuing an APB to all surfers the next time we vacationed, but so far, so good.
FTR, we were NOT in the Meditteranean during its rash of shark attacks.
I have a coworker that seems to attract natural disasters. First there was a tsunami warning. Then next year he went to Disneyland, it rained so hard there was flooding. Then he went to Disneyworld; feet of snow in most of the country.
I always knew I posted with the Movers and the Shakers of the world at large.
This thread is now my cite. ![]()
While the Swedish Air Force’s latest plane JAS Gripen was in its development phase there were two spectacular crashes with it. Both times I was abroad and saw the headlines when I got back home. It scared me a bit. :dubious:
So kayaker were you on vacation Thurs/Friday? If so I think it’s time you accepted that you need to start staying home.
