I prefer free-range human. You can really taste the joie de vivre. ---

I am one of the most adventurous eaters I know. I have tried everything from ants and crickets to mammoth meat to freeze dried ice cream. I’m on a quest to figure out a way to try durian without stinking up my house. But I wouldn’t even try it, and I probably wouldn’t date somebody who did. That is just instinctively, viscerally, icky; I find the idea revolting. ---

I have to think vat-grown meat of any kind would not really be all that good. Personally I don’t think I could go the cannibal route, so I would stay away. Plus a little surprised this went 25+ posts without [INSERT] Insert your own Soylent Green reference here [/INSERT] ---

Perhaps if the remarkably unappetizing word “vat” were to be omitted from the promotional campaign, the Human Meat Council would find greater success. ---

It sort of begs the question of whether or not it’s ethical to purposely grow human flesh for consumption. It’s unlikely to taste better than the sorts of meats we are accustomed to eating, so what would be the purpose other than a transgressive thrill? ---

Only if it’s fully cooked. Because human tissue (even in a vat) can harbor pathogens dangerous to humans. ---
