I knew a girl when I was in high school whose parents had a round shower stall in the middle of their bedroom. The exterior of it was upholstered in red velvet.
My bathroom off my bedroom has two large doorless openings to the main area with the sinks, although the room with the toilet and shower does have a door. But I never shut it. (I live alone so it doesn’t usually make a difference to anyone anyway.)
Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
I can’t imagine living someplace warm enough to have a bathtub in a big room. Or allowing so much unpleasant humidity to make the sheets damp.
As someone else said, it sounds romantic for young couples, but what a PITA in reality.
We have a tv in our bathroom…a small flat screen(15-18 inch) that fits under the vanity…open the doors, and there ya go!!! I LOVE soaking in the tub watchin tv!!!Or keepin up with the Today show when getting ready for work.
Hey man, don’t knock avocado.
We call that bathroom our “Kermit bathroom” because the tub is green and there’s a line of green tile along the middle of the wall. We’ve decided it’s easier to embrace it than to gut the room and start over.
It’s its own room, though. No beds involved at all.
