I think Britney’s been beyond blatant since releasing a video entitled “Hit Me Baby One More Time” where she masqueraded around mostly as a Catholic school girl. Not that I’m complaining. ---

I really, really hate to admit it, but I actually really like that song. Its got great tempo, and slightly Prince-esque lyrics. I note the title - did he in fact write it? ---

I note the title - did he in fact write it? \*\* I was wondering the same thing, but Britney did not say a word about that on the MTV special last week promoting the new album… …um, I mean, uh…I HEARD someone talking about that Britney special on MTV and… …oh…OK…dammit, you caught me! FWIW, I really don’t like the song, but there is something about Britney that doesn’t really make me hate her. I liked several songs on the “Oops” CD. She seems to me like a pretty level-headed girl…I mean WOMAN…I mean not yet a woman or whatever…Damn this is giving me a headache.
