Hmm, so do I have the longest online dating relationship on the 'Dope? I thought there was someone who had been with their SO longer… Met on a BBS hosted in the Netherlands. Living together 14 years, married for three. 🙂 ---

We can’t beat you, **Necros** , but we’re coming up on meeting eight years ago now (March 18). We met at love@aol which is out of business now. We celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary last August. My sister just married her boyfriend that she met from phone dating. ---

Congrats! I met my SO-hubby-thingy on OKCUPID. I’m slowly moving in (he needs to make room for me & my youngest), and we get along great! We can have our differences and we compromise or adjust. I’m still in that ‘high’ stage and I hope to stay there =) ---

Kingdom of Loathing, if anyone’s curious. Our third wedding anniversary is in September. And while my sweetie _is_ a Doper, he’s not Autolycus 🙂 I married Nanook Of The North Shore, Lurker Extrordinaire and Poker Fiend. ---

I met my SO four years ago while playing an MMO. We’re not married, but he refers to my parents-- whom he hasn’t met yet-- as his future in-laws, so I guess that means it’s going well. 🙂 I wouldn’t recommend it as a way to meet people, though.
