Today, we had: [A man with a gun in the state capitol.](http://www.rockymountainnews.com//drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_5631577,00.html) He was shot and killed by a state trooper. According to the news, this guy rented a tux and claimed that he was the emperor of the state. 😕 [Another man was died after being tasered by the police.](http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_5631212,00.html) There were two [fatal](http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_5631497,00.html) [car wrecks](http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_5631473,00.html) Forget Friday the 13th, looks like Monday the 16th is _much_ worse. ☹ ---

When I moved from South Florida to CO, I just couldn’t believe how mellow it was out here, and how little crime and drama we had. Doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, especially as the population grows like it has over the past couple of years. Kinda sad ☹ ---

I want the followup story on the rented tux, and the reaction of the store personnel when it comes back with bloodstained bulletholes. I doubt the estate is getting the deposit back. ETA - Looks like, according to the article, it may have been a single head shot that connected (one of four?). Still may have stained the tux. ---
