# Wow, that was kind of assholish, constanze

This was over from the “unexpected unfairness in movies” thread. Spoilers, sort of, for the old movie _Ghost_.

Wow. Generalize much? Maybe you’ve been watching too many movies. And I would love to hear more about how even-tempered and righteous you Europeans are.
OK, I know constanze was probably just letting his/her mouth (or typing fingers) run faster than his./her good sense, but still. That was kinda rude and crude, there. Y’know, the Punisher is an American _fantasy_, not an American reality.

The Punisher isn’t even American fantasy. I don’t understand why he’s classified as a super-hero; isn’t killing people basically all he does?

Speaking as a European and a citizen of a country that brought killing in the name of revenge to almost a horrible art form I’d say that **constanze** is a jumped up fuck with a false sense of superiority.
Don’t think that the other 300 million of us are like that, well I’m sure that out of that number there are many like him but aren’t there everywhere.

Killing _criminals_ is all he does. But other heroes don’t like to be associated with him because he is so violent (he, in turn, respects them but feels free to disagree). He’s a vigilante, but not necessarily a hero.

Uh huh. All Americans wear a skull tee shirt and just look for excuses to wipe out huge numbers of people. Those who don’t like that look go for the old Clint Eastwood western style while they kill people, for a more “old skool” feel. :rolleyes:

All American cops eat donuts. not ‘doughnuts’, donuts.
When Americans go abroad they wear loud hawaian shirts and beige shorts, socks with sandals, and talk louder than everyone else.
Americans over the age of about 50 have heads about 20 percent larger than non Americans.
Over the age of 60 the nose is about 50 percent larger.
All Americans love their Govornment and President unquestioningly.
All American teenage girls have high-pitch voices.
All Americans are at risk of drinking household cleaning products unless instructed otherwise.
Americans never drink more than 3 alcoholic beverages in any given week (any more than that and they’re alcoholics)
Americans are not aware that coffee is hot. They need to be told.
Upon birth each American child is registered with a therapist.
Help me out here, the world needs to know about those weird Americans.
