The 2001 version of “Halleluja” in Shrek is a well known cover: [Shrek: Hallelujah (2001) (VHS Capture) - Bing video](https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=hallalujah+shrek&docid=608027783171866682&mid=83FA794514AA3067F6D483FA794514AA3067F6D4&view=detail&FORM=VIRE) But perhaps even better known is the cover of that released on the album, featuring a similar arrangement but a different voice. No wonder I never heard of it before Shrek.
