“Bad Time” by Grand Funk is a beautiful pop song with a certain Beatles/George Harrison vibe. I like the cover by the Jayhawks even better, it stresses that vibe even more (Gary Louris’ guitar always reminds me of George) and has beautiful harmonies. The Metallica Blacklist is a compilation album of Metallica covers. (… Mostly Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters, to be honest.) I was interested because Ghost and the Hu contributed (Enter Sandman and Through the Never, respectively)…but while both those tracks were awesome, they’re not what I’m here to post… Amazingly epic is… Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Robert Trujillo (is it still a cover if one of the actual band are involved? … Yes), and Chad Smith doing Nothing Else Matters: [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/DqoQY9bobow/maxresdefault.jpg "Miley Cyrus feat.
