I think I’ve probably been aware of this cover for some time, but it bubbled back up into my consciousness recently. **Cum On Feel The Noize** was quite the international hit for the British band **Slade** back in 1973 (50 years ago - oops!). Not so much in the US, where it made #98. There was a US cover by **Quiet Riot** and yeah, I did give it a listen, not impressed. Slade vocalist Noddy Holder’s voice was extraordinary - as much shrieking as singing; and it kind of makes sense that if a cover is going to work it needs another extraordinary voice to carry it. So how about Liam Gallagher? This startling cover of a Ukrainian pop song (good luck finding the original) won the 2018(?) Voice Kids Ukraine.
