Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in large part due to a cover. It’s pretty good. Sounds exactly like the original, but as most people think it’s the original, it definitely worked. ---

If you’ve been at a live Brandi Carlile performance in the past year or two, she typically does a cover of Joni Mitchell’s _A Case of You_ that is simply spine-tingling. There are a couple of poorer quality amateur videos out there, but no really good captures of it. I keep hoping for her to release it. ---
