Wreck-it Ralph

The had a bunch of the Fix It Felix Jr. machines at Disney Quest when we were there a few months ago. Plays just like the movie complete with old school Donkey Kong graphics.

I still see arcades all over the place these days with stand up machines. Chuck E. Cheese, Dave & Busters, every six flags park, every hotel/waterpark resort, kids fun/entertainment centers, etc.

Arcades still exist in Hawaii, and not just in Waikiki. I think that’s due to the popularity of 4-quarter Japanese fighting and driving games.

My daughter was born in 2005. Loved it. So did I.

Really, it should have won Best Animated Picture.

What is it? (Spoiler it if you want).

My local movie theater has a small arcade just off the main lobby - maybe six games in there. I know of two local bowling alleys with arcades, as well.

If you pause it says “Intermission in 5…4…3..2..1” and then Chris Hardwick comes up to give trivia about the movie. There are about 8 or so bits of info. I just paused to go get a drink and when it came up I was surprised.

As someone wrote you can turn it off if you find it annoying or want to really pause.

Say “Sugar Rush”!
“Sugar Rush”!

I also have “Ogoe Diamond” by AKB48 on iPod as well…

Not exactly like Litwak’s, but we have Tornado Terry’s here in Texas. You pay a flat fee to get in and all the regular video games are free. The only games you have to pay for are the ones that vend tickets that can be exchanged for prizes.

You get a discount at TT’s if you bring in a movie stub; I held on to our Wreck-It Ralph stubs for several weeks thinking those would be the ideal stubs for getting a discount! We never did make it, though. I wonder if they have a functioning Roadblasters

I love the movie. My 11 year old son loves the movie.

I think it is because the 80’s were the Best. Years. Ever.

I mean it, even today’s kids wish they were growing up in the 80’s…
